Twisties is a social platform for motorcycle riders to plan rides, track routes, organize group rides, and connect with fellow riders. By using Twisties, you agree to these terms.

1. What Twisties Is For

Twisties is built for the motorcycle community. All content should be related to motorcycles, riding, routes, gear, meetups, and the culture around it. This is not a general-purpose social network.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and everything posted from it. You must be at least 16 years old to use Twisties. One account per person.

3. Community Rules

To keep Twisties a good place for riders, the following are not allowed:

Hate speech or discrimination — No racism, sexism, homophobia, or targeting of any group. Zero tolerance.
Nudity or sexual content — Keep it appropriate. This is a riding app, not a dating app.
Violence or threats — No threats, glorification of violence, or content depicting harm to people or animals.
Harassment or bullying — Don't target, stalk, or repeatedly harass other users.
Spam or self-promotion — No repetitive posts, unsolicited advertising, or commercial spam.
Impersonation — Don't pretend to be someone else or create fake accounts.
Illegal activity — Don't use the platform to organize or promote criminal activity.
Misinformation — Don't spread false safety information that could put riders at risk.

4. Content You Post

You own the content you post on Twisties (photos, routes, text). By posting, you grant Twisties a license to display it within the app. We won't sell your content or use it outside the platform.

We may remove content that violates these rules without notice.

5. Ride Data

Twisties records speed, location, and route data when you track rides. This data is for your personal use and sharing with the community. How you ride is your business.

Ride data is not verified and should not be used as evidence of any kind.

6. Reporting and Moderation

If you see content that breaks these rules, report it. We review all reports and take action where needed, including:

Removing the content
Issuing a warning
Temporarily or permanently banning the account

Ban decisions are made at our discretion. If you believe a ban was made in error, contact us through our contact form.

7. Account Suspension and Bans

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms. Reasons for bans include but are not limited to:

Repeated violations of community rules
Severe first-time violations (hate speech, threats, illegal content)
Circumventing a previous ban
Using the platform for purposes unrelated to motorcycling

Banned users will be notified with a reason. Bans may be appealed via the contact form.

8. Routes and Navigation

Routes shared on Twisties are user-generated. We do not guarantee their accuracy, safety, or legality. Always verify road conditions, closures, and local regulations before riding a route. Ride at your own risk.

9. Weather Data

Weather information is provided by MET Norway (Yr) and is for planning purposes only. Weather conditions can change rapidly. Always check current conditions before riding.

10. Availability

Twisties is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uptime, and the service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or other reasons. We may also shut down the service with reasonable notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Twisties after changes means you accept the updated terms.
