Child Safety Standards

Twisties is a social platform for motorcycle riders. Our community is intended for adults and licensed riders, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for content or behaviour that exploits or endangers minors. This document describes the standards we apply to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

We strictly prohibit any of the following on Twisties:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any imagery, video, audio, text, or other depiction of a minor in a sexual context
• Grooming behaviour — attempts to befriend, manipulate, or build inappropriate trust with a minor for the purpose of exploitation
• Sexualisation of minors in any form, including suggestive descriptions, role-play, or fictional content
• Solicitation of minors for sexual contact, imagery, or communication
• Sharing, distributing, or linking to CSAM or exploitative content from off-platform sources
• Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating the abuse or exploitation of minors

Any account engaging in the above will be terminated immediately, content will be removed, and reports will be filed with the appropriate authorities (see Section 5).

2. Age Requirement

Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account on Twisties. We rely on Google and Apple's age-gating during account sign-in and on the user's declaration during onboarding. If we become aware that a user under our age requirement has created an account, we will remove the account and any associated content.

3. In-App Reporting

Every user has access to a "Report" option on posts, comments, routes, rides, and user profiles. Reports relating to child safety are treated with the highest priority and reviewed within 24 hours. Reporters' identities are kept confidential. Users can also block other users at any time to prevent further contact.

4. Content Moderation

We use the following measures to detect and prevent CSAE content:

• User reports — every piece of user-generated content (posts, comments, photos, routes, messages) can be reported, and reports are routed to our admin review queue
• Manual review — reports are reviewed by Twisties administrators, who can remove content, suspend accounts, and escalate to authorities
• Account bans — accounts identified as engaging in or facilitating CSAE are permanently banned, their content removed, and their identifiers retained to prevent re-registration
• Image upload limits — uploaded images are tied to authenticated accounts to support traceability of any reported material

5. External Reporting

If you encounter content or behaviour involving the exploitation of a minor, please report it directly to the appropriate authorities in addition to using the in-app report tool:

• Norway: Kripos (the National Criminal Investigation Service) — kripos.no
• European Union: The relevant national hotline listed at inhope.org
• United States and global: The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline — report.cybertip.org

Twisties reports confirmed CSAM to NCMEC (the global clearinghouse) and to Norwegian authorities (Kripos) as required by applicable law. We preserve relevant data and cooperate fully with law-enforcement investigations.

6. Compliance with Applicable Law

Twisties complies with applicable child-protection laws, including:

• Norwegian criminal-code provisions on child sexual abuse material
• European Union Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography
• The European Union Digital Services Act (DSA) requirements for online platforms
• Where applicable, the US 18 U.S.C. § 2258A reporting obligation to NCMEC
